Same with me! Except I’m begging my dad. Maybe I could get him to take me and a friend so he can’t say no… *devious grin*

Happy Orthodox Easter

Just got back from Church. Today is Orthodox Easter, in case you didn’t know. God, my parents wanted me to dress up, put on make-up, and sit squashed up in a car in between my old grandparents so we could go to church 45 min. away, light our “labades” and stay for ten minutes, then have another 45 min. car ride home. And I did it. So now, at 1 am, I am in dress clothes and make-up, and in a very bad mood cause tomorrow we have to go eat lamb on a spit (a Greek tradition, cause we’re Greek) and I still have tons of homework! I will get approximately 7 hours of sleep. Not enough. Well, got to go crack red eggs, as tradition says. Why do Greek traditions have to be SO DAMN BORING!?!?!?!

Mary Poppins (US Tour)

I am so excited! My mom got us Mary Poppins tickets for May, when it comes to the Hippodrome in Baltimore on the US tour! The Hippodrome brings back so many memories… including my first Phantom show! And now I get to see Mary Poppins, one of my favorite movies as a little kid! YAY!

Off to Washington DC for the day. At least we are visiting my favorite museum: National/Natural (I forget which of the 2) History.

Is it normal for a middle school girl to like History museums? No

Do I care? Not really.

Who was the prettiest actress in the Hunger Games movie?

Ooh, the person who played Clove was so freaking pretty. I was starting to like her. Until she enjoyed killing other people.

Why Have You Brought Me Here / Raoul, I've Been There
The Phantom Of The Opera [London Cast 1986]

leriejett:

I found this one without name… Sarah & the cast sound really weird… Help?

I believe their voices have been moved up. Like, they are singing a couple of notes higher than normal. Someone probably used some sort of squeaker app. Annoying

My god, he is so adorable!

I love this interview so much.

“Vampires and Broadway don’t mix.” There have never been truer words spoken. Gotta love that ending though.

How did you get introduced to Phantom?

Well, the US tour of the Phantom of the Opera came to my town about two years ago. My mom wanted to see it so bad so she bought us tickets. She has wanted to see it ever since she was a student in college, where people would drive up to Toronto from her school to see Phantom. So she got tickets. I really wasn’t that interested, but I just went along. You know, experience new things and stuff. We had the crappiest seats in the theater and I forgot my glasses at home and we didn’t know the story and couldn’t understand what they were saying. But it was beautiful. Me, being nine at the time, was impressed at every little detail. And was very confused. So, a week passed and my mom comes home with the DVD copy of the 2004 movie. It was beautiful to me, cause, well we could understand what they were saying and could actually see it. I fell in love really liked it, but was not a ‘phan’. I actually cried at the end because I thought the Phantom had died. So my mom burned all the CDs she could find, and I listened to them occasionally.

Fast forward to mid-September of 2011. Me and my friend were at the movie theater with my mom (cause we aren’t old enough to go alone :() and I saw “the Phantom of the Opera” in one of the slots. I squealed really really loud! And immediately we had to see in when it came out. So I dragged my dad to the theater and we watched it. Then, I really truly loved it and appreciated it. And to this day, I am a phan.

Thanks for the question, mrserikkarimloo. Hope your first Phantom experience was good!
